L. Dolder Hejl (They/She)

L. is a queer hairstylist whose passion is to empower others to feel and look themselves. L’s interest in doing hair started with cutting the hair off their Barbies at age 11 and French braiding all the girls’ hair for musicals in high school.

They pursued this career because they love creating gender-affirming, confidence-boosting baircuts and colors for everyone.

When they’re not behind the chair, L. is a cat mom, probably drinking coffee and knitting.

Maria has been doing hair since 1993! It is a career that brings joy to her life. Maria can do it all, but her favorite part of being a stylist is watching the transformation unfold.

Hi! My name is Raeda. I came to Chicago from Lebanon and have proudly called this city my home for the past 31 years. I love cooking, walking, and being part of an amazing community.

I have been a hairstylist for 23 years, and I truly love what I do. Working at Clark St. Cuts has been one of the best experiences of my career. I appreciate the wonderful people I work with and the owner, who have always treated me with kindness and respect. They feel like family to me. I am grateful every day for the opportunities I’ve had in the United States and for the life I ‘ve built here. Thank God.
